LP^® Smartside Precision Series

The Precision Series by LP^® SmartSide^® represents the closest looking option to cedar. The rich cedar grain finish offers the warm look of real wood with the superior protection that only treated strand composition can provide. It is available in several different widths, while its extra long 16-ft panels result in faster installation with fewer seams.

LP^® Smartside Versus Wood

We’re frequently asked about the benefits of LP Smartside over traditional wood siding. LP Smartside products resist warping and are free of knots and flaws so it’s quicker to install (our crews don’t have to waste time sorting out flawed pieces). It is also made in longer lengths than wood, resulting in fewer seams. Unlike wood siding, it is factory pre-primed to help with paint adhesion and application consistency, and as we mentioned above, it’s resistant to termites & fungus. Best of all, LP Smartside offers all these benefits at a significantly lower price than wood.

We are proud to offer the LP Smartside products pre-finished. The factory primed siding is finished in a special 2 coat process that results in a 25 yr. finish with over 12 standard colors. Because of our relationship with the coating company, we are also proud to offer our special Kustom-Kolor program. Just tell us what color you want and we can provide it. Or give us a color chip, and we can have it matched in the same 25 yr. finish. This Kustom-Kolor program is exclusively available from Hollingsworth Home Improvement.
